Responsibilities

  • On-site Supervision of the following areas: Interior Design work;
  • Review and check all the drawings, specifications, and to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings;
  • Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress, safety and nonconformances to Consultants / Employer;
  • Provide weekly reports on interior design (ID) site activities, including identified issues, proposed action plans, and solutions implemented to resolve them;
  • Attend meetings at the client's office or work site, as necessary, to address ID site-related issues and other project matters;
  • Review and familiarize with project drawings and contract specifications. Highlight deviations during joint testing, commissioning, and inspections to ensure smooth handover, operational occupancy, resolution of post-construction defects and user feedback;
  • Carry out administrative works and other duties as required by QP / Consultant / Employer;
  • Assist in the review of contractor's method statements and working procedures and ensure that contractor proceeds in accordance to approved method statement;
  • Keep, maintain and submit daily site record on progress of works, instructions given to Contractors, materials delivered to site, daily activities and weather conditions at site, number and visitors at site and any other significant information;
  • Attend site/coordination meetings as directed;
  • Prepare defects snagging list, monitor the progress of rectification works and ensure all the defects are satisfactorily rectified.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of site experience in the supervision of various types of developments;
  • Must possess adequate experience in supervising interior design works at site;
  • Able to perform night works, if necessary.
