Payroll Manager – Global Payroll Center of Excellence

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for designated countries or regions.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop both senior and junior payroll team members.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance and external service providers to maintain accurate employee, benefits and financial data.
  • Support and coordinate payroll audits, statutory filings and reporting requirements.
  • Drive implementation and adoption of new payroll systems, automation and process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated payroll issues and inquiries, providing timely resolutions.
  • Lead or participate in ad-hoc payroll or HR related projects as and when required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • 5+ years of payroll experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of international payroll regulations, systems and best practices.
  • Experience in leading payroll transitions, system implementation or process automation projects.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
