Lead Payroll Specialist – Global Payroll Center of Excellence

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for assigned countries with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Validate payroll inputs and outputs, including tax, benefits, and deductions.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.
  • Train, mentor and guide junior payroll staff, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance and external service providers on data integrity and issue resolution.
  • Participate in ad-hoc payroll or HR-related related projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree  in Accounting, HR, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-country environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
