Job Summary

The Marketplace Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end development, launch, and ongoing optimization of CompAsia's Marketplace ecosystem. This role ensures the platform is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with the commercial, operational, and customer-experience ambitions of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role serves as the central orchestrator between Product, Tech, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and external vendors translating the CEO's strategic direction into executable project roadmaps and delivering a scalable, high-performing marketplace that becomes a core revenue engine for CompAsia.

Job Responsibility:

  1. Marketplace Strategy, Roadmap & Execution


• Build and drive the end-to-end marketplace roadmap from concept to launch and scaling phases.


• Translate the CEO's strategic direction into structured workstreams with clear milestones, owners, and KPIs.


• Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Tech, Revenue, Marketing, Operations, and SCM.


• Ensure delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

  1. Program & Project Management Leadership


• Establish a disciplined PMO rhythm for the marketplace: sprint cycles, governance meetings, RAID logs, and progress tracking.


• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to protect delivery timelines.


• Manage multiple vendors, agencies, and technology partners, ensuring contract adherence and performance standards.


• Ensure documentation, processes, and workflows are built for scalability and repeatability.

  1. Product & Customer Experience Alignment


• Work with Product & Tech to define user journeys, platform features, and functional specifications.


• Ensure marketplace UX/UI aligns with global standards and CompAsia's brand promise.


• Champion customer-centric design through continuous feedback loops and usability testing.


• Validate that the platform supports multi-country rollouts, device categories, pricing models, trade-in flows, and integrated logistics.

  1. Commercial & Operational Readiness


• Collaborate with Revenue Teams (B2B, B2C, Retail, Online) to map commercial pathways and monetization models.


• Ensure inventory, pricing logic, fulfillment processes, and aftersales workflows are integrated into the platform.


• Partner with Supply Chain & Operations to embed SLA tracking, operational dashboards, and turnaround metrics.


• Build ROI models for marketplace adoption, scaling, and profitability targets.

  1. Data, Performance Insight & Continuous Improvement


• Define success metrics: GMV, conversion rate, CAC, take rate, repeat rate, platform uptime, etc.


• Set up dashboards and reporting mechanisms for CEO-level visibility.


• Use data insights to drive continuous improvements to marketplace efficiency, revenue, and customer experience.


• Stay updated on marketplace trends, competitive models, and emerging digital commerce innovations relevant to CompAsia.
