About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Boilerman Grade 1 or 2 to operate, maintain, and supervise boiler systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role includes some supervisory responsibilities, including overseeing junior staff and assisting in scheduling and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain and operate boiler systems in an efficient and safe manner.
  • To perform troubleshooting of boiler breakdowns.
  • To manage DOSH inspection and service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of boiler operations.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior boiler operators or technicians.
  • Assist in planning maintenance schedules and safety drills.
  • Report any operational issues to the maintenance manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a valid Boilerman Grade 1 or 2 certificate/permit.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U or any Professional Certificate.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in boiler operation.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role in a plant environment is preferred.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • Able to work on shift/long hours basis.
  • Highly motivated, a self-starter and eager to succeed.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently with less supervision and work as a team.
