Our client, a Malaysian company in the Construction & Property Development industry, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in Puchong. This role will be responsible for overseeing the Group's Finance division.

This role will potentially be trained and groomed for a CFO role within the Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor weekly, monthly and quarterly cash flow planning and forecast.
  • Forecast cash flow positions, identify financial needs, and obtain financing from financial institution.
  • Oversee the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the finance department's goals and objectives.
  • Assist in preparing financial modeling for potential investment.
  • Review, propose, and monitor operations systems and controls to smoothen the financial forecast.
  • Prepare the financial budget and financial analysis and interpretation of financial data.
  • Liaise with the Accounts staff for the Preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory filing requirements, and reporting in line with the company's policies and procedures
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with external auditors, tax agents, banks, legal officers, Company Secretary and government agencies.
  • Management of tax matters and ensuring compliance to laws and regulations and overall tax efficiency with the advisory/ review by Tax Manager.
  • Overseeing the finalization of yearly audited report and ensure tax returns are submitted on a timely basis.
  • To carry out any other duties may be as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2–4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the construction or property development industry

  • Proficient in accounting software such as SQL & AutoCount

  • Good knowledge of SST and Malaysian financial reporting standards

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Able to meet deadlines and work independently

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8, RM12,500.00 per month
