Our client is a newly established manufacturing company located in Senai. They specialize in producing cables for high-reliability connectors. As a key player in the global supply chain, the company serves various industries including automotive, medical healthcare, marine, telecommunications, logistics, railway, and others. With a strong international presence, they operate more than 10 sales outlets worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up, optimize, and validate industrial production processes to meet operational and quality standards.
  • Design and improve production process layouts, machinery utilization, workflow efficiency, and quality control systems.
  • Lead and/or support continuous improvement initiatives using PDCA, DMAIC, and structured problem-solving methodologies such as Is/Is Not, 5 Why, 4M1E, and 8D to address yield loss, defects, and process abnormalities.
  • Analyze production data to evaluate process effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Support new production line setup, process engineering activities, and production flow optimization.
  • Establish and implement production safety guidelines and procedures, including the handling of hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) standards, as well as company, industry, and government regulations.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, audit, and maintenance of ISO quality management systems (preferred).
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets and quality KPIs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in new production line setup, process engineering, and production process optimization is preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience in ISO quality management systems is an added advantage.
  • Result-oriented with proven ability to drive teams to achieve and exceed production KPIs.
  • Strong communication skills with good production quality control and engineering analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage as sometimes need to liaise with Mandarin speaker clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM10,000.00 per month
