  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints to ensure the timely completion of orders.

  • Coordinate with various departments, including production, procurement, and logistics, to allocate resources such as labor, equipment, materials, and facilities effectively.

  • Monitor production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks or constraints. Make recommendations to management for adjustments or improvements to enhance overall production efficiency.
  • Evaluate and prioritize orders based on customer requirements, production capacity, and inventory levels. Make real-time adjustments to schedule to accommodate urgent orders or unforeseen changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate schedule changes, production delays, and potential issues that could impact delivery timelines. Ensure all stakeholders are well-informed about production progress.
  • Utilize production data and performance metrics to analyze trends, identify patterns, and propose strategies for continuous improvement in production processes and scheduling accuracy.
  • Work closely with inventory teams to monitor stock levels, initiate replenishment orders, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory through effective scheduling.
  • Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) or material requirements planning (MRP) systems to input and update production schedules, ensuring accuracy and synchronization with other organizational processes.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing production schedules, reducing lead times, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
