Innity is looking for a highly driven Head of Finance to oversee our finance operations across Malaysia and regional markets. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to senior management, responsible for group financial reporting, tax compliance, audit, corporate governance, and Bursa Malaysia listing requirements. You will also oversee budgeting, cash flow planning, and internal controls for Innity Group of Companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the local and regional finance teams to deliver accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reports for strategic business decision-making.
  • Oversee annual audits for both local and overseas entities, ensuring timely closure and full compliance.
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow, and support financial planning initiatives.
  • Lead the global strategy and implementation of finance systems and tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and development of a global Business Intelligence, data and analytics and visualization tools.
  • Drive advanced analytics capabilities and standardize financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards to enable data-driven insights and informed decision-making across regions and business units.
  • Ensure end-to-end tax compliance (SST, corporate tax, transfer pricing) for Malaysia and regional entities, and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Manage group financial consolidation and statutory reporting.
  • Coordinate and compile content for the Annual Report (e.g., Chairman's Statement, Corporate Governance, MD&A), working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle corporate governance tasks, including RRPT circulars, board and AGM arrangements, internal control updates, and conflict of interest disclosures.
  • Develop and implement finance policies, procedures, and process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency and governance.
  • Keep abreast with corporate governance updates and enforcement in listing requirements, present in Board meetings on non-compliance areas, propose actions needed.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, providing coaching on systems, reporting, and compliance matters.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Qualified Accountant with MIA or professional certifications body such as CPA, ACCA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thorough and detail oriented.
  • Good management skills, embrace teamwork, positive and hands-on attitude
  • High level of self-dependence, credibility and integrity, demonstrate leadership, ownership and resiliency
  • Must have working experience in a public listed company or any international accounting firm
  • Must be familiar with Malaysia accounting standards and Bursa Malaysia listing requirements
