Fitness Manager

The Fitness Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the club's fitness operations — including personal training, group exercise, and gym floor experience. This role ensures exceptional member satisfaction, maximizes fitness revenue, and leads a high-performing fitness team aligned with the club's mission and brand standards.

1. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the team of Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches, and Group Instructors.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to deliver consistent, high-quality fitness services.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Build a positive, professional, and motivating team culture.

2. Business & Sales Management

  • Drive fitness department revenue through personal training, assessments, and programs.
  • Set and monitor monthly/quarterly KPIs for trainers and overall department.
  • Analyze performance data, manage budgets, and provide strategic input to achieve financial targets.
  • Create and execute promotions, campaigns, and retention initiatives to increase engagement.

3. Member Experience

  • Ensure all members receive exceptional service and personalized support in achieving fitness goals.
  • Maintain strong visibility on the gym floor to engage with members and resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee the quality and consistency of fitness assessments, programs, and classes.
  • Encourage feedback and implement improvements based on member satisfaction metrics.

4. Operations & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and health & safety regulations.
  • Oversee daily operations of the fitness floor, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment maintenance.
  • Manage scheduling, floor coverage, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Membership, Group Exercise, Maintenance, etc.) to deliver a seamless club experience.

5. Strategy & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the club's fitness offering through new programs, technologies, or partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, certifications, and best practices.
  • Support marketing and community events that promote the club's fitness services.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM8,000.00 per month
