About Us

We are a premium indoor plant retail company with multiple outlets in Klang Valley. We specialise in modern indoor plants, plant styling, and professional plant care knowledge. We are opening a new pushcart at IOI City Mall in January 2026 and are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and professional customer service to shoppers.
  • Greet customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable indoor plants and plant care products.
  • Share plant care knowledge (light, watering, fertiliser usage, troubleshooting, etc.) after training is provided.
  • Operate POS system, handle cash/credit card transactions confidently and accurately.
  • Maintain high standards of visual display, pushcart cleanliness, and product presentation.
  • Assist in plant maintenance: watering, grooming, checking plant health, and basic repotting when required.
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints politely and professionally.
  • Support inventory management including stock count, restocking, and receiving deliveries.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
  • Work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays (shift-based).

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM qualification.
  • Able to communicate fluently in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin/Tamil is a bonus).
  • Friendly, proactive and passionate about customer service and retail work.
  • Able to learn product and plant knowledge quickly — training will be provided.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and basic digital tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Retail experience is an advantage.
  • Willing to attend 1-month training at our other outlets before the IOI Mall pushcart opens.
  • Able to commit long-term.
