Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Admin Cum Account position at Icon Production Sdn. Bhd., located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The responsibilities include performing daily administrative tasks, managing and maintaining accounts, handling customer inquiries, assisting in financial matters, preparing reports, and supporting the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations including data entry, bookkeeping, and maintaining up-to-date ledgers.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and collection follow-ups.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, petty cash reports, and cash flow summaries.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in tax computation, audit coordination, and liaise with external auditors or tax agents.
- Maintain inventory, asset register, and expense tracking records accurately.
- Handle supplier payments, staff reimbursements, and general financial transactions efficiently.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office administrative tasks including office supplies, maintenance coordination, and logistics.
- Handle company correspondence, emails, and documentation flow between departments.
- Maintain proper filing systems (physical and digital) for all financial and administrative documents.
- Support management in preparing reports, memos, and business documentation.
- Monitor and manage administrative expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and government agencies when required.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and ensuring smooth internal operations for the Finance team.
Requirements
- Education:
- Diploma or Degree in
Accounting
, Finance, Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), or other related fields. - (Candidates from relevant backgrounds — are encouraged to apply.)
- Experience:
- Preferably 1–3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
- (Candidates with good attitude and willingness to learn are welcome.)
- Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with accounting software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
