We are a renowned foreign property developer expanding our real estate portfolio in Malaysia. As part of our growth, we are seeking a Business Development Assistant Manager to join our Residential Division. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving new business opportunities and supporting ongoing development projects in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential local development partners for joint venture (JV) opportunities in residential and mixed-use developments.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, financial modelling, and investment analyses for potential projects.
  • Perform comprehensive market research to assess supply and demand, pricing trends, competitor performance, and macroeconomic conditions.
  • Assist in negotiations, deal structuring, due diligence, documentation, and financing processes.
  • Prepare investment proposals and presentations for management approval.

Development Management

  • Support JV partners in project planning and execution, including design, cost control, marketing, approvals, and construction.
  • Monitor project financials, business plans, and returns to ensure performance meets target outcomes.
  • Participate in discussions on key project strategies including sales, marketing, and finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, Project Management, Construction, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in property development, investment, or financial institutions.
  • Solid understanding of property development processes, laws, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in feasibility studies and market research.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
