Accountable for driving financial integrity through precise budgeting, forecasting, and compliance; delivering robust financial models and profitability analysis; enforcing cost controls; managing cash flow, assets, and tax obligations; and ensuring accurate reporting to support strategic decisions and organizational performance.

Job Descriptions

  • Business Planning & Budgeting Develop annual business plans, budgets, and mid-year revisions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Financial Guidance Advise departments on budgeting principles, cost control, and financial modeling requirements.
  • Budget Consolidation & Review Compile departmental budgets, validate accuracy, and ensure alignment with company strategy.
  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis Track budget performance, conduct variance analysis, and report deviations from approved budgets.
  • Financial Modeling & Profitability Analysis Create costing templates, pricing simulations, and evaluate project profitability for strategic decisions.
  • Expense & Budget Control Review expense allocations, validate budget availability, and manage budget transfers with proper approvals.
  • Cash Flow & Asset Management Oversee cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Compliance & Reporting Support monthly financial reporting and ensure tax compliance (corporate tax, SST) per regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting or any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum years of experience required to perform this job:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/financial analysis required.

Required functional competencies:

Budgeting, Forecasting & Budget Control

  • Ability to prepare and coordinate annual budgets, business plans, and mid-year revisions.
  • Skilled in monitoring budget utilization, performing variance analysis, and validating expense allocations (including PRF, i-PRF, MANAP, and i-MANAP requests).

Financial Modelling, Pricing & Project Analysis

  • Proficiency in developing financial models, costing templates, and pricing simulations for proposals, tenders, and new business opportunities.
  • Competence in analyzing project profitability, conducting sensitivity analyses, and supporting strategic pricing decisions.

Revenue, Cost & Financial Analysis

  • Strong analytical capability to assess revenue streams, cost structures, and provide actionable insights for financial performance improvement.

Financial Governance & Systems

  • Knowledge of financial policies, governance frameworks, and ERP systems for accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Accounting or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an added advantage.

Cash Flow & Asset Management

  • Ability to manage cash flow forecasting, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain an accurate fixed asset register.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Competence in assisting with monthly financial reporting, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Tax Compliance Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian tax laws including SST, corporate tax, and transfer pricing

Ability to manage tax filings and liaise with tax authorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM9,000.00 per month
