We are appointing a
Business Development Director
to establish and lead our Malaysia IT services and consulting business for a global systems integrator.

This is a country-build role with end-to-end responsibility for market entry, enterprise revenue, and long-term growth across IT services, digital transformation, cloud, ERP and managed services. The role carries significant autonomy, senior stakeholder exposure, and direct ownership of commercial outcomes.

The Director will be expected to originate and close complex IT services engagements, working with regional and global delivery teams to shape solutions across application services, cloud, data, ERP, and transformation programmes. You will drive net-new logo acquisition, identify large-scale programmes, and position multi-tower offerings rather than staff augmentation or transactional deals.

You will engage at CIO, CTO, CDO and business leadership level, translating business objectives into technology roadmaps and commercial proposals. Responsibilities include pipeline creation and governance, deal structuring, bid leadership, pricing input, and commercial negotiation, ensuring solutions are deliverable, scalable, and profitable.

As the Malaysia business matures, you will contribute to local capability build-out, partner alliances, and hiring strategy, acting as the senior commercial face of the firm in-country.

We are looking for a senior IT services BD or growth leader with a strong Malaysia enterprise network and a proven background in solutions-led selling within consulting, systems integration, or managed services. Experience opening new markets or building a country practice is essential, along with executive presence and strong commercial discipline.

This is not an
account management or delivery role.
It is a strategic IT services growth leadership position with genuine ownership.

Compensation:
USD 200k OTE (structure flexible for the right executive)
