Responsibilities:

  • To manage the Incident Management process including IT/Systems and Shariah Non-Compliance. This includes investigation, performing causal analysis and reporting to relevant parties including BNM and Parent Bank.
  • To manage the Risk and Control Self-Assessment ("RCSA") process including providing input into potential areas of improvement, training to educate and support business unit's understanding and to drive continuous enhancement to risk assessment processes. Also, to assist in the design and execution of regional control over the RCSA program.
  • To manage the Stress Testing and Scenario Analysis for operational risk including developing scenario and upward reporting to stakeholders.
  • To manage and coordinate the various Risk Management committees on operational risk subjects.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
  • Preferably with minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience especially in Banking industry with a focus in Operational Risk Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver clear, well-structured presentations.
  • High degree attention to detail and focus on error-free execution.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to successfully manage a number of work streams to deadlines and high standard of quality.
  • BRM certificate holder will have an added advantage.
