Key Responsibilities1. IT Operations & Support

  • Provide daily technical support for hardware, software, printers, and networking issues for all departments.
  • Manage and monitor company servers, network devices, storage, and security systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, email, or network connectivity issues promptly.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, license tracking, and periodic maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure data backup and recovery processes are properly executed and tested.

2. IT Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Assist in planning, building, and maintaining IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewall systems.
  • Support new site or office setup (network cabling, server room preparation, user setup).
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment, internet lines, and maintenance contracts.
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies, access control, and data protection measures.

3. Software Development & Integration (Added Advantage)

  • Participate in in-house software or web application development projects.
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand operational workflows and propose digital solutions.
  • Support integration between existing systems (ERP, HRM, Jotform, etc.) and new software tools.
  • Conduct testing, documentation, and deployment of developed or integrated applications.
  • Provide training or guidance to users on newly developed systems.

4. System Administration

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in Active Directory or equivalent systems.
  • Monitor server health, performance, and security logs regularly.
  • Schedule and implement system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Maintain IT documentation, policies, and SOPs for audit and compliance purposes.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Support management in IT budgeting, cost optimization, and procurement planning.
  • Provide input on automation or workflow improvement through IT tools.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in software development (e.g., Python, PHP, JavaScript) or database management (MySQL, MSSQL) is an advantage.
  • Experience in software integration (API, system linking, workflow automation) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up IT infrastructure, cabling, and networking is preferred.
