Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the factory, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Monitor and optimise production workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Lead and motivate the production team, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and logistics, to align operations
  • Analyse production data and generate reports to measure and optimise performance
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain effective inventory control systems
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field
  • At least 5 - 8 years in a similar manufacturing or production management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards
