Responsibilities & Authorities

  • Ensure contractor to construct according to construction drawings & specification.
  • Coordinate with various contractors, consultant & authorities on all site matters.
  • To inspect & Monitor at all times each stage of construction work including piling, structural, architectural works, mechanical & electrical works, external works & infrastructure works.
  • Attend all site meeting & verify progress report.
  • To coordinate with consultants and project manager & highlight foreseeable problems for action & to ensure delivery of high-quality workmanship.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Architect Engineer or equivalent.
  • Registered as Inspector-Of-Works (IOW) with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM).
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in related field preferably in supervision of architectural works and high rise projects
  • Preferable consulting office experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in written & spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Mandarin will be added advantage.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Must possess own transport.
  • Available vacancy in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, but required to travel to other district of Sabah.
