Banquet Event Sales Agent: Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Generation: Actively solicit and secure new bookings for banquets, conferences, and social events (e.g., weddings, corporate meetings).
  2. Client Management: Handle enquiries, prepare tailored quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage client follow-up from initial lead to event confirmation.
  3. Event Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact, detailing all event requirements (menus, room layout, technical needs) and briefing internal teams for seamless execution.
  4. Quote & Confirmation Support: Support the accuracy of quotations and final confirmations by meticulously checking all details against client requirements and internal resource availability.
  5. Reporting & Analysis: Update the customer database (CRM) and produce sales performance reports to track targets and identify future opportunities.
  6. Site Tours: Conduct professional site inspections and presentations of the venue's facilities to potential clients to help close sales.

Basic Requirements

  1. Prior experience in a Banqueting or Hospitality background.
  2. Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
  3. Strong sales-driven focus and effective negotiation skills.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
