Business Development Associate

We are looking for a proactive and motivated
Business Development Associate

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical and strategic partner for our clients, guiding them from onboarding and implementation to achieving their decarbonization goals with our AI-powered platform. You will work alongside an innovative, mission-driven team to help shape the future of the climate tech industry.

At Pantas, we're pioneering a new approach to how businesses measure, manage, and report their carbon emissions. Home to the first PCAF-accredited platform in Asia, we are setting the standard in carbon accounting and providing organizations with the tools they need to decarbonize effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Intelligent Client Onboarding & Implementation:

Lead the end-to-end onboarding process, leveraging AI tools to streamline and automate data integration and validation, ensuring a seamless and efficient launch for new clients.
- Relationship & Account Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a dedicated portfolio of clients, building strong, long-term relationships to ensure they achieve their sustainability goals using Pantas.
- Sustainability Analysis & Strategic Advisory:

Analyze client carbon emission data to generate insightful reports, identify key reduction opportunities, and provide strategic advice on sustainability best practices and compliance.
- Proactive Client Engagement:

Proactively monitor client health and platform usage, developing strategies to drive deeper adoption, ensure satisfaction, and secure renewals.
- AI-Enhanced Product Development:

Act as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback to propose, test, and assist in the implementation of new AI-driven features that automate client tasks and enhance decision-making.
- Training & Empowerment:

Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and support materials to empower clients, helping them become expert users of the Pantas platform.

What We're Looking For:

• Experienced hires

in the sustainability field are strongly recommended, but recent
fresh graduates

- Adaptability

: Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adjust to shifting priorities.
- Technical Aptitude & Analytical Mindset:

A strong ability to understand and implement software solutions. Experience analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights, preferably using both standard tools and learning new AI-driven platforms.
- Client-Facing & Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users and build strong advisory relationships.
- Passion for Problem-Solving:

An eagerness to troubleshoot client challenges, gather product feedback, and work with engineering teams to test and implement new AI-driven features.
- Proactive and Independent

: Strong ability to take initiative, manage multiple client implementations simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Additional Points We Would Love to See:

• Previous experience, especially in business development, sustainability, or the financial sector.
• Experience in banking, investment, or financial services is highly valued and will strengthen your ability to support our clients and team goals.
• Additional courses or certifications in business, sustainability, or related fields.
• Leadership experience, such as in co-curricular activities or volunteer roles.
• Any prior knowledge or interest in carbon emissions or the climate tech industry.
