DESCRIPTION:

Manage construction/colocation process to produce a quality site to customer specifications within the timeframe and budget required by planning, coordinating, and managing multiple projects while supervising field employees and subcontractors. Act as site representative to the client with responsibility for ensuring all requirements are clearly communicated to the internal team and met within the budget and timeframes specified.

Key Responsibilities

Before Project Construction / Installation

  • Participate in pre-construction site walks with clients and vendors to confirm site layout, material specifications, and work scope.

  • Stay updated on project and client requirements to ensure proper implementation.

  • Plan, schedule, and organize materials, equipment, manpower, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project progress.

During Project Construction / Installation

  • Supervise and monitor all on-site activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Conduct daily inspections and ensure that subcontractor work meets schedule and design criteria.

  • Enforce ALFA and OSHA safety standards; immediately stop work if unsafe conditions occur.

  • Conduct and document weekly meetings, inspections and site progress.

  • Maintain detailed site records including reports, permits, and daily logs.

  • Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders to resolve on-site issues, scheduling, and equipment deliveries.

  • Prepare and submit reports such as Site Inspection Reports, Rectification Reports, and Sire Progress Updates.

  • Ensure materials and equipment are properly stored, used, and maintained on site.

  • Oversee project progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

  • Address and resolve any site issues, conflicts, or unexpected challenges.

After Project Construction / Installation

  • Prepare Site Completion Reports and assist in project closure documentation.

  • Ensure final work, including rectifications, is completed to client satisfaction.

  • Participate in weekly or monthly project meetings.

  • Perform other tasks as required, including assisting with R&D or special projects.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify project requirements, scope, and objectives.

  • Prepare and review project documents such as proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails.

  • Monitor expenses, adhere to budget, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

  • Be willing to work extended hours or weekends when required to meet project deliverables.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • One of the following: High school diploma/SPM with 1+ years of construction/equipment installation/joinery experience OR Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Project/Construction Management/Engineering or similar

  • Ability to effectively lead a crew to the completion of and in conformance with schedule, customer requirements and budget guidelines.

  • Will require to apply for a CIDB card.

  • Computer literate with the ability to work with Microsoft Office and MS Teams.

  • Ability to read and comprehend drawing plans.

  • Able to communicate with people at all levels and meticulous with an eye for details.

  • Able to work well with team, target-oriented, responsible and can work under pressure.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to organize, plan and strategize.

  • Ability to drive a motorcycle.
