Job Summary:

The Regulatory Affairs Specialsit will be responsible for managing and coordinating all regulatory activities for Norel's animal feed additives and related products across the APAC region. The role ensures compliance with national and regional regulations governing product registration, import/export, manufacturing, and sales. This position requires strong coordination with local authorities, distributors, and internal teams to ensure timely product approvals and regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Registration and Compliance

· Prepare, submit, and follow up on product registration dossiers with local authorities (e.g., DVS Malaysia, BAI Philippines, DLD Thailand, and equivalent agencies across APAC).

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of registration requirements and regulatory changes in each market.

· Coordinate renewals, variations, and new applications for all registered products.

  1. Import and Manufacturing Licenses

Manage applications and renewals of permits related to:

· Import of raw materials and finished goods

· Manufacturing and selling licenses

· Free Sale Certificates and Certificates of Origin

Ensure that all regulatory documentation required for import/export activities is valid and compliant.

  1. Technical Documentation Management

· Maintain and update product technical files (specifications, SDS, COA, labels, dossiers, etc.).

· Liaise with QA/QC and Technical departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.

· Organize and maintain the regulatory database and archive for easy retrieval and traceability.

  1. Coordination and Communication

· Liaise closely with Sales Teams and Distributors to support market access, provide registration updates, and ensure smooth product launches.

· Serve as point of contact for local regulatory authorities to handle inspections, document requests, and compliance matters.

· Coordinate with Spanish HQ and regional teams to align product documentation and technical data.

  1. Compliance and Continuous Improvement

· Monitor regulatory changes in APAC countries and proactively communicate their impact to management.

· Support audits and internal reviews related to regulatory compliance.

· Contribute to developing streamlined regulatory processes and templates across the region.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in animal science, Chemistry, Biology, Veterinary Science, or related field.

· Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in the feed, food, or pharma industry.

· Familiarity with DVS Malaysia and other regional authorities' processes.

· Strong knowledge of regulatory documentation and product registration workflows.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.

· Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other Asian languages is a plus
