We are looking for a meticulous and detail-driven Quality Controller to join our creative production studio in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for accuracy, strong language skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards across digital, print, and social content. You will work closely with designers, editors, producers, and creative teams to ensure all artworks meet respective brand standards, layout, and technical requirements in addition to language/linguistic accuracy before delivery.

This role is essential to maintaining the quality, consistency, and reliability our global clients expect.

Responsibilities:
  • Review a wide range of creative materials including social assets, print layouts, digital banners, video, and presentations
  • Proofread and correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax to ensure polished, error-free content.
  • Ensure all assets adhere to brand guidelines, tone, and client-specific requirements
  • Verify accuracy of data, disclaimers, product details, formatting, and layout consistency
  • Perform quality checks on final artwork, ensuring proper file setup, dimensions, color profiles, and production specs.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and producers to identify issues and ensure timely revisions
  • Maintain QC checklists, documentation, and audit trails for all reviewed assets
  • Flag inconsistencies, missing elements, or deviations from client instructions
  • Support the continuous improvement of internal QC processes and standards
  • Provide final approval for assets prior to client delivery
  • Additional ad-hoc tasks as and when required
Requirements:
  • Strong command of English with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
  • Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or quality control within a creative, agency, or production environment
  • Familiarity with design terminology and production processes (print, digital, social, video)
  • Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to spot errors quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high output volumes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, AfterEffect, Illustrator, Photoshop) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with productivity and/or management tools such as , ClickUp etc. is one level up
  • Knowledge of brand guidelines and quality standards for global clients is a plus
  • Highly organised with efficient time-management and sense of urgency with multitasking abilities
