About the Role

Uno Nutrition is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Intern to join our QA/QC Department. In this role, you will help ensure the quality and safety of our raw materials and finished products through routine testing, accurate documentation, and compliance with ISO, GMP, Halal, and food safety standards. You will support quality investigations, assist with supplier and manufacturer communication, and help coordinate corrective and preventive actions when issues arise. The role also includes maintaining QC records, monitoring pest control activities, assisting with halal applications, and supporting on-site inspections and audits. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real QC operations in a fast-paced nutritional manufacturing environment, guided by experienced QC team members.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Continuously improve product quality by liaising with all departments.
  • Liaise with customers or manufacturer on quality issues, make investigation and coordinate internal corrective and preventive actions (if any) and assist release report accordingly (CAR, Non-Conformance, or Customer Complaint Report).
  • Conduct internal and external testing, to make sure the quality of raw material and finished goods (FG) within the range of product specification and release report accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records for all internal lab analysis, retain samples and any related to quality department.
  • Assist for food safety and maintaining quality of raw materials and end products (eg, on-site inspection raw materials receive & delivery, etc)
  • Assist in all halal application of new product and renewal.
  • Assist for pest control monitoring.
  • Liaise with raw material suppliers, manufacturer, and pest control on related issue.
  • Assist in ISO 9001 system documentation.
  • Assist to maintain and updated raw material document.
  • Responsible for the compliance of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GMP and Halal.
  • Any other responsibility that assigned by management from time to time.

Skills :

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good ability to be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
