Quality Assurance & Control

∙Implement and monitor the project's Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), and Method Statements.

∙Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process work, and completed construction to ensure compliance.

∙Supervise material testing, concrete sampling, compaction tests, and other QA/QC-related lab/field work.

∙Ensure construction is carried out in accordance with approved drawings and procedures.

Documentation & Compliance

∙Maintain QA/QC records: inspection forms, test results, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and Corrective Action Reports (CAR).

∙Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection summaries, test logs, and handover documentation.

∙Ensure all subcontractors and workers comply with required QA/QC standards.

∙Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and clients for quality inspections and verifications.

Coordination & Supervision

∙Work closely with Project Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors on quality matters.

∙Coordinate third-party testing and inspections as required.

∙Assist in material submittals, approvals, and compliance tracking.

∙Liaise with client's QA/QC representatives and attend quality-related meetings.

Continuous Improvement

∙Identify recurring quality issues and propose improvements.

∙Assist in root cause analysis for defects and recommend corrective actions.

∙Promote quality awareness and best practices on-site.

∙Reject materials, workmanship, or procedures that do not meet quality standards.

∙Instruct subcontractors to rectify defects and follow up on corrective actions.

∙Reject unsafe tools, equipment, or practices.

∙Stop work temporarily to investigate major quality issues, prior to Project Manager/Head of Engineering Department (Technical) approval.

∙Recommend improvements to QA/QC processes, acceptance criteria, and inspection regimes.

∙Coordinate third-party testing and technical support to ensure compliance with specifications.
