About the Role

We're seeking a QA/QC Manager to lead our quality assurance and quality control efforts on construction projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive QA/QC plans that ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans that align with industry standards and project specifications. This includes:

2. Reviewing project specifications and identifying potential quality risks

3. Developing and implementing QA/QC procedures and protocols
4. Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure QA/QC plans are aligned with project goals and objectives

5. Ensuring QA/QC plans are communicated to all relevant stakeholders

6. Conduct regular inspections, testing, and monitoring of construction materials, processes, and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This includes:

7. Conducting site inspections to monitor construction activities and identify potential quality issues

8. Reviewing and verifying test results to ensure compliance with industry standards
9. Monitoring construction processes to ensure they are in line with QA/QC procedures

10. Identifying and documenting non-conformities and implementing corrective actions

11. Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner. This includes:

12. Working closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to identify and resolve quality issues

13. Coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials meet project specifications
14. Communicating with clients to ensure their quality expectations are met

15. Facilitating quality-related meetings and workshops to ensure all stakeholders are aligned

16. Conduct audits and inspections to evaluate QA/QC procedures and recommend improvements. This includes:

17. Conducting regular audits of QA/QC procedures to ensure they are effective and compliant with industry standards

18. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
19. Developing and implementing new QA/QC procedures as needed

20. Providing training and guidance to site personnel on QA/QC procedures

21. Maintain accurate records of QA/QC data, test results, and corrective actions taken. This includes:

22. Maintaining a comprehensive QA/QC database to track test results, inspections, and corrective actions

23. Ensuring all QA/QC records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date
24. Providing regular QA/QC reports to project stakeholders

25. Ensuring all QA/QC records are compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements

26. Provide training and guidance to site personnel on QA/QC best practices. This includes:

27. Developing and delivering training programs on QA/QC procedures and protocols

28. Providing guidance and support to site personnel on QA/QC best practices
29. Ensuring all site personnel are aware of QA/QC procedures and protocols

30. Encouraging a culture of quality and safety on site

31. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards. This includes:

32. Staying up-to-date with changes to laws, regulations, and safety standards

33. Ensuring all QA/QC procedures and protocols are compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements
34. Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance
35. Identifying and implementing corrective actions to address non-conformities

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in a QA/QC role within the construction industry
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Qlassic Certification or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
