The
Franchise Development Coordinator
supports the expansion of the company's food & beverage franchise network. This role coordinates franchise sales activities, manages franchisee enquiries, prepares documentation, and ensures smooth onboarding of new franchise partners while aligning with brand, operational, and food safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle franchise enquiries from digital platforms, brokers, and referrals
  • Coordinate franchise presentations, discovery days, and site visits
  • Maintain franchise lead pipeline and CRM records
  • Support franchise development managers in closing franchise deals
  • Prepare franchise application packs, agreements, and disclosure documents
  • Coordinate signing and submission of franchise agreements
  • Ensure compliance with franchising regulations, brand standards, and F&B licensing requirements
  • Coordinate onboarding timelines for new franchisees
  • Liaise with operations, training, supply chain, QA, and marketing teams
  • Track pre-opening milestones including:

1) Training completion

2) Outlet setup and equipment ordering

3) Menu and supplier onboarding

4) Licensing and approvals (local authorities, food handling, halal where applicable)

  • Act as the key point of contact between franchisees and internal teams
  • Coordinate franchise training schedules and store opening plans
  • Support new outlet openings and soft launches
  • Prepare franchise development reports and sales updates
  • Assist with market research, site evaluation data, and competitor analysis
  • Support franchise exhibitions, roadshows, and F&B trade events

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • 3 to 4+ years of experience in franchise development, business development, or F&B expansion
  • Proven track record of closing franchise deals and opening multiple outlets
  • Experience in restaurant, café, QSR, or multi-unit F&B operations preferred
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple franchise projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and basic reporting tools
  • Understanding of F&B operational workflows and food safety standards
