Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our company. The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable: Ensure invoices are processed and payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial transactions into accounting software and maintain accurate records.
  • Reconcile Accounts: Help reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Assist in preparing financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Maintain Ledgers: Help maintain and update general ledgers, ensuring all entries are recorded correctly.
  • Assist with Budgeting: Help prepare budgets and track expenditures.
  • Ensure Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Other Administrative Tasks: Provide general office support, including filing, answering phones, and responding to emails as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or relevant experience).

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with experience in auditing.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (having experience in using SQL Accounting is an advantage).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of basic tax laws and regulations (preferred but not required).
