Job descriptions:

  • Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accepted accounting principles and internal policies.
  • Issue sales invoices, process payments for company expenses and on behalf of clients.
  • Perform monthly and annual closing of accounts; generate management reports, schedules, and aging reports for review.
  • Liaise with external parties such as tax agents and auditors for audits, tax filings, and other compliance matters.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties or assignments as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, LCCI, ACCA, or related field.
  • Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of e-invoicing systems is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in accounting and payroll functions will be advantageous.
  • Languages Required: Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Malay (to liaise with a diverse clientele and stakeholders).
  • Highly meticulous, independent, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.

Other Information:

  • Location: UMCity Medini Lakeside (Iskandar Puteri);
  • 5 days/week, Standard working hours from 9:00 to 18:00;
  • Salary will be commensurate according to experience & qualifications;
