About the role

As an Account Executive at GEMBIRAFOOD SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping practices. What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining and reconciling general ledgers, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses
  • Providing support in the implementation of accounting processes and internal controls
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry. Full Set Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
