Job Summary:
The Account Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business segments including ferry services, logistics, telco, and holdings. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain full set of accounts for assigned business units.
- Handle accounts receivable, payable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum years experience in accounting.
- Familiarity with group or multi-subsidiary accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SQL, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in marine/logistics/telco accounting.
- Knowledge of intercompany consolidation reporting.
