Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement headquarters' financial policies and procedures in alignment with Group SSC team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of daily accounting operations and monthly closing activities.
  • Manage Malaysia local tax compliance, ensuring timely submission of tax filings and applications for tax refunds.
  • Monitor and control tax-related risks in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with local auditors and external partners to complete annual audits for the group and its subsidiaries on schedule.
  • Maintain communication with local banks and government authorities.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and applications for relevant licenses/qualifications promptly and accurately.
  • Safeguard company assets by executing periodic physical inventory checks and annual stocktaking of fixed assets.
  • Provide accounting and administrative support during the construction and setup phase of the Malaysia factory.
  • Assist with temporary HR or administrative tasks as required before the factory's official production and operations commence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, taxation, budgeting, and overall financial management.
  • Possess an international perspective with strong knowledge of financial management in both manufacturing and trading enterprises.
  • Proven factory cost analysis and cost control management experience.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) for effective communication with HQ in China and local stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage cross-cultural challenges.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, positive mindset, and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
