About the role

Acre Works Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior QAQC Manager to join our team in Kulim, Kedah. As a full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes for our construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic success of our company within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projects
  2. Monitoring and inspecting construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes, and industry standards
  3. Identifying and resolving quality issues in a timely manner, working closely with project teams to implement corrective actions
  4. Conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  5. Providing training and guidance to project teams on QAQC best practices
  6. Preparing detailed reports and documentation to track project quality performance
  7. Collaborating with stakeholders to continuously improve QAQC processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a senior QAQC role within the construction industry
  2. Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes and regulations
  3. Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve quality issues
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Well verse with Integrated Management System (IMS) and all ISO.
  7. Proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure project quality and compliance
