Opella Business Analysis & Controlling team has the strategic role of driving financial performance and trajectory of manufacturing sites and global network primarily based on daily data and automations. Our performance drives Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) down, protecting CHC competitiveness against peers.

Opella is building a global data and analytics capability within Finance to support our Manufacturing & Supply (M&S) organization. We are looking for a Finance professional with strong data skills who can turn complex financial and operational data into clear insights, automated dashboards, and better decision-making for our global teams.

About the Role

This newly created role serves as the bridge between Finance and Data. You will design and automate dashboards, improve data quality, streamline reporting processes, and support Finance Controllers across 13+ manufacturing sites worldwide.

You will work with global Finance, Data Heads, Site Leaders, and Governance teams to ensure consistent, accurate, and actionable information that helps optimize cost, performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and maintain Power BI dashboards for Finance M&S (costs, performance, production trends).

• Own and enhance the CORE Finance M&S data model; ensure data accuracy, quality, and system connectivity (ERP, Data Lake).

• Reduce manual reporting by automating recurring processes and improving data flows.

• Translate Finance needs (closing, budgeting, controlling, COGS, variances) into technical data models and reporting solutions.

• Partner with Finance Controllers and Site Heads globally to deliver insights that improve decision-making.

• Train Finance teams on dashboards and new reporting tools; support adoption and usage.

• Contribute to data governance, documentation, and standardization efforts across global Finance.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in Finance Controlling, FP&A, Costing, or Financial Planning.

• Strong data skills: Power BI, advanced Excel, data modeling, dashboard automation.

• Understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred), financial processes, and data structures.

• Ability to translate business questions into meaningful reporting solutions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with global teams.

• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable building new systems from scratch.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain-related environment.

• Exposure to Data Lakes, ETL, or data governance.

• Experience with TM1 or other planning tools.
