**Overview**:

- rhi is recruiting for a **BI Analyst - Procurement & Finance** to support our global oil & gas client, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- You’ll be responsible for building high-impact dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights. Stakeholder management across global time zones is key.
- **Contract Duration**: 12 months
- **Working Arrangement**: Hybrid (60/40 model) - 1 month completely onsite for knowledge transfer
- **Interview Process**: Two rounds of virtual interviews

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel to support procurement and finance functions globally
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights and visualizations to enable cost savings and performance tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional global stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate, timely analytics
- Ensure data quality and integrity in procurement datasets to support evidence-based decision-making
- Develop and maintain tools to track reporting schedules, modifications, and errors
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from leadership, providing concise insights for operational and strategic decisions
- Support continuous improvement by implementing automated and self-service analytics solutions

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, with a mandatory background in procurement or finance
- Advanced skills in Power BI and Excel (pivot tables, complex graphs, data queries)
- Strong working knowledge of S2P (Source-to-Pay) processes and procurement/finance systems such as SAP, Ariba, Salesforce
- Familiarity with SQL (required); Python is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working across time zones with diverse stakeholders
