What You'll Do

As our Sales Engineer, you'll be more than just a salesperson — you'll be a trusted advisor and technical expert helping our clients bring their projects to life. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Staying ahead of trends in smart lighting and IoT-based illumination technologies
  • Identifying and growing business opportunities with both existing and new customers
  • Providing technical expertise and tailored lighting solutions to meet client needs
  • Preparing and managing tenders, quotations, and project proposals
  • Conducting engaging product demos and commercial presentations
  • Building lasting relationships through networking and industry events
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Generating accurate sales reports and forecasts
  • Taking on ad hoc tasks and contributing ideas for team improvement

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related industries (lighting, electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering)
  • A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics)
  • Own transport and valid driving license; willing to travel when needed
  • Excellent communication in English and Malay (Mandarin is a plus)
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team-driven environment

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Strong knowledge of lighting systems and illumination standards
  • Familiarity with CAD software, Dialux, or lighting design tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • A "can-do" attitude, curiosity for new tech, and hunger to grow
