is a joint-ventured company between Yee Lee Corporation and TCP Group, the owner of world renown energy drink brand, Red Bull, since 2023. Together, both companies possess an extensive marketing and distribution network with strong business development capabilities covering various trade channels directly and via sub-distributors in West Malaysia and East Malaysia for famous FMCG's brands from beverages to household products: Red Bull Malaysia, Spritzer, Cactus, Red Bull International, BIC, Warrior and etc.
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Brand Manager to lead brand development and drive growth for key product categories within our FMCG portfolio. This role is responsible for crafting and executing brand strategies, managing cross-functional initiatives, and delivering compelling consumer experiences that strengthen brand equity and market share.
Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead annual brand planning, including market analysis, consumer insights, and competitive benchmarking.
- Define brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
Marketing Execution
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital channels.
- Collaborate with creative agencies and internal teams to ensure consistent brand communication.
- Manage product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Consumer & Market Insights
- Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and performance data to inform strategic decisions. e.g Nielson and Kantar Brand Health and etc.
- Conduct regular brand health tracking and post-campaign evaluations.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Sales, Trade Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and execution of brand initiatives.
- Lead innovation projects including new product development and packaging refreshes.
Budget & Performance Management
- Manage brand budgets effectively, ensuring optimal ROI.
- Monitor KPIs and report on brand performance to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of brand management experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of successful brand building and marketing campaign execution.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
