Position Summary:

To maintain a secure and safe working environment by protecting company property, personnel, and visitors through proactive patrols, access control, and continuous surveillance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in security, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Physical fitness to perform patrols and emergency response duties.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Strong discipline, alertness, and integrity.
  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing security environment.
  • Knowledge of CCTV operations and basic incident investigations.
  • First aid training or emergency response knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Security Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine patrols of buildings, perimeter, parking areas, and key assets.
  • Control access at entry/exit points and verify identity of employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance systems for suspicious activities and respond promptly when necessary.
  • Prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized removal of company property.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.

Safety and Emergency Response

  • Assist in evacuation during fire or emergency drills.
  • Act as first responder for incidents: fire, accidents, or medical emergencies.
  • Report hazards and ensure safe conditions around the facility (e.g., blocked exits, spills, unsafe behavior).

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate daily logs, patrol records, and clocking compliance.
  • Submit incident reports with detailed observations and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure all security equipment (CCTV, radios, barriers) are functioning—report faults immediately.

Visitor & Contractor Management

  • Register visitors and issue visitor passes.
  • Provide on-site assistance to visitors and contractors as required
  • Ensure compliance with company rules and safety procedures.

Regulatory & Company Compliance

  • Enforce company policies, EHS rules, and safety requirements at site.
  • Support compliance with local law enforcement and regulatory requirements when necessary.

Team & Site Support

  • Provide assistance during shift handover and ensure smooth transition.
  • Maintain professionalism, customer service, and good communication with personnel and external parties.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by EHS Engineer or management.
