D365 Finance & Operations Application Support Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented D365 Finance & Operations Application Support Analyst to provide expert-level support across our financial systems.

This role plays a key part in ensuring system stability, user satisfaction, and continuous improvement within our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O environment. You will work closely with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to maintain seamless operations and drive functional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily application support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, focusing on Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Project Management, Sales/Purchase Orders).
  • Manage and deliver Application Change Requests (ACRs) in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues related to D365 F&O and integrated systems.
  • Serve as the primary contact for D365-related matters, escalating issues to internal teams or third-party vendors when required.
  • Offer 1st and 2nd line support to internal users across global entities, maintaining high service quality and timely resolutions.
  • Log, prioritize, and monitor support tickets using the internal ticketing system, ensuring clear and complete documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with end users, IT teams, and management on issue status and resolution progress.
  • Conduct testing and validation of system updates, changes, and enhancements prior to deployment.
  • Assist during audit processes by providing system data, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and process documentation for D365 F&O.
  • Collaborate with both local and offshore IT teams to resolve issues and implement system improvements.
  • Support system upgrades, patch management, and release cycles, including testing and deployment assistance.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Finance and Project modules preferred).
  • Proven experience delivering 1st and 2nd line application support in a D365 environment.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles (AR, AP, GL).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools for managing application changes and deployments.
  • Experience collaborating with Dynamics ISVs and third-party vendors is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in creating user manuals and visual documentation (screenshots, diagrams).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and understanding of data structures in D365.
  • Exposure to IBM iSeries environments is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,400.00 per month
