This role requires a candidate with strong technical knowledge in electrical or mechanical systems. They should be able to design efficient and safe routes for cabling and ventilation systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Electrical, Architectural, Mechanical and Structural drawings to provide a fully coordinated electrical installation through the use of three-dimensional modeling

  • Detailer will work closely with the project team to create installation drawings and work packets for prefabrication from the coordinated model for use in field installation

  • Coordinate electrical room layouts, feeder routing and equipment clearances consistent with the NEC

  • Maintaining document / drawing control procedures to ensure proper document / drawing creation, amendment, receiving, transmittal, recording and disposal as required by ISO procedures

  • Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent

  • Technical expertise in electrical schematics and ventilation.

  • Proficiency in CAD and BIM (Revit) for design work.

  • Experience in coordinating with other design teams.

  • Expertise in Revit for 3D modeling.

  • Proficiency in Navisworks for clash detection and analysis.

  • Ability to create clear clash analysis reports.

  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

  • Internships of 3 to 6 months or longer are also welcome.

  • Knowledge of Architectural, Electrical & Mechanical systems installation details and basic local Authority requirements

  • Willing to travel within KL city center or Johor, depending on management's arrangement

  • Field knowledge and experience supervising and/or directing commercial electrical installation is beneficial

  • Computer proficiency, file management and organization

  • Good communication skills, coordination skills, outgoing personality, aggressive & able to work under minimum supervision
