Job Overview
The Clinical Applications Specialist plays a key role in supporting the deployment, training, and ongoing success of enterprise imaging and medical informatics solutions across healthcare facilities. This position ensures end users receive a seamless experience by providing clinical expertise, contributing directly to improved patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Deployment & Implementation
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and integration of Enterprise Imaging systems at client sites, ensuring smooth and compliant setup.
- Support project engineers in technical aspects of deployment, with focus on workflow optimization and clinical usability.
2. Clinical Training & User Support
- Conduct on-site and remote training for clinical staff to ensure proficiency in using enterprise imaging systems.
- Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and user guides tailored to various healthcare professionals.
- Serve as the first point of contact for clinical application support, addressing user issues and escalating to technical teams when necessary.
3. Client Consultation & Workflow Analysis
- Collaborate with clients to understand clinical workflows and recommend optimizations aligned with clinical needs.
- Facilitate solution customization based on client requirements, working closely with project engineers and development teams.
4. Post-Implementation Support & Customer Success
- Conduct regular follow-up sessions with clients to assess satisfaction and identify emerging needs.
- Gather user feedback to support continuous improvement and recommend system enhancements.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Document all training activities, user interactions, and support cases for quality assurance and audit purposes.
- Provide timely updates and reports to leadership on client progress, issue resolution, and training outcomes.
6. Industry & Product Knowledge
- Stay up to date with healthcare informatics, DICOM, HL7 standards, and enterprise imaging technologies.
- Participate in ongoing product training to maintain strong technical and clinical understanding of imaging systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related clinical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with enterprise imaging, PACS/RIS, or other clinical systems in a healthcare environment.
- (Candidates with a strong clinical background are preferred.)
- Strong knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards and understanding of clinical workflows. Familiarity with enterprise imaging platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train users of varying clinical backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision; accountable and reliable.
- Persuasive, proactive, and able to motivate users effectively.
- Willingness to travel outstation; must possess own transport.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6, RM7,000.00 per month
