Our client LX PANTOS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an Assistant Warehouse/Distribution Manager to join their team

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to lead warehouse and distribution operations in a dynamic environment? Join our client's team as an Assistant Warehouse/Distribution Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing?
  • Customer-focused logistics: Liaise with customer service and transport companies to ensure accurate and high-quality deliveries that meet customer expectations.
  • Transportation management: Oversee outsourced truck companies and manage delivery arrangements to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cost control: Manage distribution costs and billing procedures to maintain financial efficiency in logistics operations.
  • Operational leadership: Oversee day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring the right products reach customers on time.
  • Inventory management: Take responsibility for warehouse inventory accuracy and integrity, implementing best practices for stock control.
  • Quality assurance: Enforce FIFO principles in deliveries, storage, and stock replenishment to minimize ageing, deterioration, and wastage of materials.
  • Process improvement: Develop and implement SOPs and work guides for warehouse processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety requirements.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Logistics, or Warehousing Management, providing a strong foundation in supply chain concepts.
  • Relevant experience: Minimum of 3 years in warehouse/distribution operations, with essential experience in managing a 3PL facility.
  • Logistics expertise: Competence in inventory management, freight forwarding, and customs documentation to ensure smooth operations.
  • Technical proficiency: Knowledge and hands-on experience with WMS and other software applications used in modern logistics.
  • Analytical skills: Strong planning, inventory control, and data analysis capabilities to drive operational efficiency.
  • Communication skills: Proficiency in English and Mandarin for effective communication with diverse stakeholders and partners.
