Job Summary

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all warehouse functions, including inbound and outbound activities, storage, inventory accuracy, and distribution efficiency. This role ensures operational excellence, safety compliance, optimal space utilization, and high service standards while driving continuous improvements. The position also manages team performance, workflow planning, system processes, and budget forecasting to support overall operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, storage, inventory, and distribution activities.
  • Ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused warehouse performance by supervising, organizing, guiding, and developing the operations team.
  • Develop and enhance warehouse processes, including product handling requirements, storage methods, equipment utilization, inventory controls, and shipping workflows.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the warehouse team to resolve day-to-day operational issues and achieve operational targets.
  • Manage daily warehouse activities with strong control over inventory accuracy, logistics coordination, and stock movement.
  • Conduct and review regular stock counts; investigate variances and implement measures to minimise inventory loss.
  • Plan and review workflow, manpower allocation, storage layout, and equipment needs to meet productivity, quality, and service standards.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and plan for future capacity requirements.
  • Uphold workplace safety and health standards by enforcing company procedures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure warehouse operations adhere to internal ISO processes.
  • Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget and monthly operational forecasts.

Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing warehouse operations in both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Good understanding of warehouse management processes and KPIs.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and inventory control practices.
  • Proficient in warehouse systems and general computer applications.
  • Strong communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage teams with diverse backgrounds and operational needs.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet operational deadlines.
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control.
