Express Operations Coordinator

The Express Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of the station/branch. This includes monitoring and ensuring efficient and effective execution of pick-up and delivery activities, sorting and processing of consignments, and supporting the overall functions of the station/branch. The role ensures operational compliance, service quality, and smooth coordination between drivers, warehouse teams, customer service, and management.
Key Activities / Accountabilities
- Oversee consignment processing activities, including sorting, scanning, and tracking, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews with all stations and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and update major account activities to ensure service standards are met.
- Follow up and update OST & UNDEL (SC/FD/DU) status on a daily basis.
- Coordinate collection and arrangement for Delivery Order (DO) returns.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely and accurate pickups, deliveries, and documentation in accordance with SOPs.
- Resolve operational issues promptly to prevent service disruptions and maintain service quality.
- Communicate service-impacting information clearly and quickly to relevant stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Minimum SPM/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in express, courier, logistics, or operations coordination.
- Strong understanding of pick-up and delivery (PUDO) operations and consignment handling.
- Good communication skills (verbal & written).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and basic reporting.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask.
- Knowledge of route planning, scanning systems, or courier platforms is an added advantage.
