PT. Triplus Hitech, a foreign Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturer in Batam is hiring for Engineering Asst / Manager

Ideal candidate is someone who fulfill the criteria below:

  • 8–12 years of engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role in plastic injection molding.
  • Strong background in mold design, tooling, machine maintenance, and process engineering.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX) and familiar with DFM/DFA principles.
  • Experienced in new product development (NPD) — from prototype to mass production.
  • Leads mold trials, tooling improvements, and process validation to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborates closely with production, QA, and planning teams to solve technical bottlenecks and enhance performance.
  • Ensures compliance with ISO standards and drives engineering documentation and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Analytical and innovation-driven, focused on reducing cycle time, improving part quality, and optimizing mold life.
  • Strong leadership with a coaching mindset — builds capable engineering teams and fosters problem-solving culture.
  • Brings strategic thinking, technical depth, and hands-on expertise, ensuring the plant's technology and systems stay ahead of industry standards.

Job Description of Engineering Asst / Manager are as follows:

  • To help engineering staff in their daily work and supervise the preventive maintenance of all equipment
  • Carrying out all the Engineering Department obligations.
  • To always inform Spv Engineer about all activities and events in the Engineering Department.
  • To coordinate with customers or outside vendors for repair and maintenance work
  • Able to make decisions to ensure good product operations.
  • Any other work or assignment given by management as and when requested.
  • Coordinate with different Department in the manufacturing plant
  • Internal committee discuss, review and verify, including check for the: Specification, Environmental data, safety product, Type of Change (Permanent / Temporary)
  • Verify and upkeep Engineering document include of product drawing.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, Chemical leakage prevention and safe workplace
