Overview:

We are seeking a highly capable and strategic 3D Printer Brand Product Specialist, to oversee, manage and deploy the full spectrum of Retail Outlet Space, focusing on Bambu Lab and Elegoo branded 3D printers, printed products, spare parts, consumables and softwares.

This role will be pivotal in ensuring sales excellence by addressing the market gaps within the 3D Printing Market.

Day-to-Day

  • Keep up-to-date on latest news on Bambu Lab offerings and also overall 3D market to be aware on latest trends and technological advancement in the 3D world
  • Prepare training materials for onboarding and training and keep info up-to-date
  • Do monthly trainings or refreshers for new and existing hires.
  • Visit central outlets for on-site technical support.
  • Consolidate feedbacks from customers, outlets and regional sales advisors and then review and provide insights on the consolidated feedbacks and present to HQ for review and action.
  • Research and gather market insights on competitors and feedback to HQ.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Expertise & Customer Support

  • Act as the primary subject-matter expert (SME) for Bambu Lab 3D printers, filaments, spare parts, consumables and software.
  • Provide technical demonstrations, troubleshooting assistance, and post-sale support to partners.
  • Educate partners on printer capabilities, materials, and best practices for optimal use.

2. Sales & Retail Support

  • Assist sales teams in closing deals by addressing technical queries and highlighting product advantages.
  • Stay updated on competitor products and articulate Bambu Lab's unique selling points (USPs).

3. Training & Onboarding

  • Train new sales executives on Bambu Lab product features, FAQs, and sales strategies.
  • Develop simple training materials (e.g., cheat sheets, demo scripts) for the retail team.
  • Conduct periodic refresher sessions for staff to keep knowledge up to date.

4. Feedback & Reporting

  • Gather any form of feedbacks (be it customer or outlet and Regional Sales Advisor) and report insights to management for product improvements.
  • Track common technical issues and share solutions with the team.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience with 3D printing technology, preferably with Bambu Lab and Elegoo products.
  • Strong technical aptitude (ability to explain slicer software, maintenance, etc.).
  • Knowledge of sustainable materials, product history & evolutions.
  • Familiarity with competiting and complimentary products from other brands.
  • Excellent communication and training/presentation skills.
  • Passion for emerging tech and problem-solving.
  • Must be tech savvy and able to perform well in the technology deck used by the company.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in retail/e-commerce product development.
  • Retail or customer-facing experience is a plus.
  • Business development experience is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in Industrial Design/ Engineering/Sales related roles
  • Prior experience product development.

Attributes:

  • Highly self-motivated, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and possesses a genuine interest in emerging technologies.
  • Able to work alone and collaborate well with a team.
  • Able to use collaborative tools (software/hardware).
  • Must be able to present to groups and be patient to guide sales rep to better understand the product and how to sell them.

Salary & Benefits Range

  • Salary RM3,000 to RM5,000
