Finance Analyst

Responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
This role is a professional accounting position requiring basic knowledge of handling a variety of entry-level financial functions that support company operations in ASIA, EMEAI or LATAM Region under a good system of internal controls. Basic entry-level financial functions include, but are not limited to Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, General Accounting and Financial Analysis.

Proactively seek opportunities to improve accounting/ business processes and leverage standard functionality. An appropriate accounting or finance certification are required.

• To support one or more accounting operation task on Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and etc for ASIA, EMEAI or LATAM Region via Oracle system (R12 & Cloud version), if needed.
• Review and analyze lease documents, which are received via the Lucernex mailbox, but may also include other methods.
• Obtain and analyze data for reporting and to support various reporting requirements such as ASC842 reporting for the US head office.
• To prepare monthly Lucernex balance sheet reconciliations as needed and to ensure quality, on time completion of these, along with suggestions for improvements.
• To prepare the assigned monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation and upload into One Stream system.
• To analyze and ensure the accounting transaction is reasonableness and prepare documentation for internal auditor or management.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement – processes.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
• KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Ability to read write and communicate in English business language.
• Expertise in administrative tasks such as managing files and records, such as legal documents and contracts.
• Knowledge of mathematics and its application
• Significant knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
• Lease Administration experience would be an advantage but not necessary
• Ability to work independently day to day but collaborate to respond to queries in a timely manner, working under SBS GA SLA's.
• TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

• Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must have the ability to accurately calculate rent payments, prorations and summarize lease provisions, decision dates and obligations.
• Clear and concise communication in verbal and written form
• Ability to arrange information according to specific rule(s)
• Time management
