About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Beautylite Interiors Sdn Bhd. As a full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, this position plays a crucial part in the successful delivery of our construction projects. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Candidates with interior renovation experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

To prepare tenders for submission

To prepare cost estimates and quotation

To evaluate the subcontractors claim and prepare certificate

To maintain project costing and prepare projects final account

Prepare claim and liaise with the Consultants QS and Consultants

To finalise project accounts with subcontractors.

Job Scope :

Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents to support the bidding process

Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports to the management team

Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers

Oversee the monthly valuation process and certify interim payments

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities

Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and industry best practices

Collaborate closely with the project management and design teams

Experience in preparing for ID tender is an advantage

Requirements :

Minimum 3-5 years of post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the interior renovation industry

Proven track record of successfully managing the cost control and commercial aspects of complex construction projects

Excellent knowledge of construction law, contracts and procurement processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically

Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Enthusiastic and proactive approach to continuous professional development.

Experience in building constructional matters is an advantage

Proactive and able to work independently

Good communication and interpersonal skill

Preferably Executives specializing in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
