Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

  • Plan, organize, and oversee bakery production schedules to ensure timely output and consistent product quality.
  • Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply chain to minimize waste and downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations (HACCP, FDA, or local equivalents).
  • Supervise bakery staff — hiring, training, performance monitoring, and scheduling.

2. Quality Assurance

  • Maintain and enforce quality control standards for all products.
  • Implement feedback systems for continuous product improvement.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and freshness.

3. Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase bakery sales (retail, wholesale, catering, and online).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities — cafes, hotels, restaurants, and corporate clients.
  • Work with marketing to launch new products, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

Analyze sales data, customer trends, and competitor activity to guide pricing and product decisions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Monitor sales targets and KPIs to ensure continuous revenue growth.

4. Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Track operational and sales performance metrics; generate periodic financial and performance reports.
  • Recommend cost-saving and revenue-enhancing strategies.

5. Customer Experience & Brand Reputation

  • Oversee customer feedback systems to maintain high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Ensure product displays, packaging, and service meet brand standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand image and local market presence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM8,000.00 per month
